Sanwa to Visit Golden Horn

Sanwa (Ger) (Monsun {Ger}), the dam of European highweight and G1 German Derby hero Sea the Moon (Ger) (Sea the Stars {Ire}), will visit Cartier Horse of the Year and Classic winner Golden Horn (GB) (Cape Cross {Ire}) in 2016 her owner Heike Bischoff-Lafrenze, owner of Gestut Gorlsdorf, announced Saturday. Currently in foal to Sea the Stars on an early cover, the full-sister to German highweights and MG1SWs Schiaparelli (Ger) and Samum (Ger), as well as champion and G1SW Salve Regina (Ger), could be joined by fellow Gorlsdorf resident Berlin Berlin (GB) (Dubai Destination) carrying to Sea the Moon. The stakes-winning daughter of Dubai Destination was runner-up in the G1 Preis von Berlin and is a half-sister to MSW and GSP Seta (GB) (Pivotal {GB}), who sold for 1.1 million gns at Tattersalls just a handful of days ago.

“If the foal is well, we will make a special transport to Newmarket,” said Bischoff-Lafrentz. “It would be great to get a little early Sea the Gold. Berlin Berlin will get back to Moonie.
