The daylong rains at Saratoga Wednesday have forced the cancellation of the four turf races scheduled for today's live program. This includes the first steeplechase race of the meet, which has been rescheduled and will be contested as the first race of the July 30 program. Because the steeplechase race was carded as today's first race, live racing will begin at 1:30 p.m. In 2007, all but six of the races scheduled for the turf were run on that surface.
