Shadwell Stable's MUTARAAMY (Tapit) heads this good-looking field of maidens coming off of a strong debut Feb. 21 at Gulfstream. The $500,000 Keeneland September yearling buy chased the speed of 'TDN Rising Star' and GIII Bay Shore S. morning-line choice Unified (Candy Ride {Arg}), couldn't quite get to that one while running greenly in the stretch, but still stayed on to be well clear for the place, earning a 93 Beyer Speed Figure. The chestnut is out of a stakes-placed half-sister to champion 2-year-old colt Stevie Wonderboy (Stephen Got Even) and GSW Theyskens' Theory (Bernardini). Dallas Stewart sends out Charles E. Fipke's Forever d'Oro (Medaglia d'Oro), a Triple Crown-nominated colt out of GI Kentucky Oaks S. winner Lemons Forever (Lemon Drop Kid). The bay homebred is a half-brother to GISW Unbridled Forever (Unbridled's Song) and MGSW Forever Unbridled (Unbridled's Song) and has been working well at Fair Grounds, including a best-of-47 bullet five furlongs in :59 2/5 Mar. 20. Race Me Home (Ire) (Oasis Dream (GB)) is a second-timer from the Dale Romans barn out of MGISW Society Selection (Coronado's Quest). The $185,000 Keeneland September grad was fourth with some traffic trouble at 12-5 in his unveiling at Tampa Mar. 12. TJCIS PPs
