Fourth in the G1 Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster in October, Raheen House split the star Juddmonte fillies Shutter Speed (GB) (Dansili {GB}) and Enable (GB) (Nathaniel {Ire}) in a 10-furlong conditions race on his return at Newbury Apr. 21 before finishing third in the Listed Cocked Hat S. over an extended 11 furlongs at Goodwood May 26. Fourth behind Permian (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) in Royal Ascot's G2 King Edward VII S. over a mile and a half June 23, the bay relished this extra trip to point the way to the Sept. 16 G1 St Leger. Settled towards the rear early by Jamie Spencer, he gradually reeled in the long-time leader Sofia's Rock and after reaching him with a furlong remaining held off Desert Skyline on the uphill climb. “The owner is not here today, but I will suggest we leave him alone until the St Leger, as another run isn't necessary,” trainer Brian Meehan commented. “That's the way he wants to be ridden and it was a top-notch ride from Jamie today. He said he looked around him a bit when he got to the front and could have won a bit easier. I think he's a proper horse.”

The winner's year-older full-brother Shraaoh (Ire) is the only other runner for the dam and is a potential group horse himself as a Sir Michael Stoute project who was well-backed when third in Saturday's Old Newton Cup H. at Haydock. The second dam is a half-sister to the G1 1000 Guineas heroine Ghanaati (Giant's Causeway) and the G3 Cumberland Lodge S.-winning sire Mawatheeq and is also responsible for the G2 Queen Mary S. winner and G1 1000 Guineas and G1 Cheveley Park S. third Maqaasid (GB) (Green Desert) and the unraced dam of the G1 San Isidro winner Il Fornaio (Arg) (Orpen). The third dam, the Listed Oh So Sharp S. winner Sarayir, is a product of the famed Height of Fashion (Fr) and is therefore a half-sister to Nashwan, Unfuwain and Nayef who also threw the G1 Epsom Oaks third Rumoush (Rahy), herself the dam of the G2 Royal Lodge S. third Muntazah (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}). Jumooh's 2015 colt is also by Sea the Stars (Ire) and is named Astrologist (Ire), while she also has a yearling full-sister to the winner and a filly foal by Born To Sea (Ire).
