Seattle Fitz Colt Brings $600K at Barretts

From the first crop of MGSW Seattle Fitz (Arg) (Fitzcarraldo {Arg}), this racy colt was the first horse to surpass the half-million-dollar barrier at Barretts. Mike Ryan, buying on behalf of William Warren, signed the $600,000 ticket for the May 10 foal. Ryan acquired GSW Denis of Cork for Warren at this sale last year for $250,000. His dam Whiskey Baby (Whiskey Wisdom), who RNA'd for $24,000 with this colt in utero, sold at KEEJAN in 2007 for $1,500. Buzz Chace bought the dark bay colt as a yearling for $22,000 at FTKOCT for L&F Racing (Lewis Lakin and Terry Finley).
