A daughter of leading Japanese sire Deep Impact (Jpn) became the first filly to sell for more than $1 million at the Japan Racing Horse Association select sale's opening session of yearlings on July 14ﾠwhen theﾠBando Bokujo of Masazumi Bandoﾠprevailed on a bid of ﾠﾥ145 million ($1,421,569) on behalf of an undisclosed client. A feminine, well conformedﾠbay, the filly is the second foal produced by GI Ashland Stakes winner Lilacs and Lace (Flower Alley) and is from the family of Japanese champion Diamond Biko (Jpn) (Sunday Silence) and multiple American GI winner Stella Madrid (Alydar).
