A daughter of leading Japanese sire Deep Impact (Jpn) became the first filly to sell for more than $1 million at the Japan Racing Horse Association select sale's opening session of yearlings on July 14ᅠwhen theᅠBando Bokujo of Masazumi Bandoᅠprevailed on a bid of ᅠᆬ145 million ($1,421,569) on behalf of an undisclosed client. A feminine, well conformedᅠbay, the filly is the second foal produced by GI Ashland Stakes winner Lilacs and Lace (Flower Alley) and is from the family of Japanese champion Diamond Biko (Jpn) (Sunday Silence) and multiple American GI winner Stella Madrid (Alydar).
