Gary Barber's Keep Quiet (Fr) (Elusive City) flew under the radar in his first two starts sprinting at Belmont, but after a dominant performance over this course and distance last time, he heads into Saratoga's GII With Anticipation S. Wednesday as the morning-line favorite. Sixth behind “TDN Rising Star” Red Lodge (Midshipman) and the reopposing Made You Look (More Than Ready) when unveiled in a turf sprint downstate May 27, the Mark Casse pupil checked in fifth next out when switched to the dirt there July 1. The bay showed more distance was the solution when going box-to-wire to win by 5 1/4 lengths when stretched to 1 1/16 miles here Aug. 6. Todd Pletcher saddles Made You Look, who followed that runner-up debut effort with a 3/4-length graduation next out sprinting over the Elmont lawn June 18.
Earle Mack and Team Valor's My Bo Chop (fr) (Myboycharlie {Ire}) makes his U.S. debut for trainer Arnaud Delacour in this spot. Previously trained by breeder Alain Chopard, the dark bay was a decisive winner at second asking at Dax July 3 and was fourth in his last European outng in Vichy's Prix des Jouvenceaux Aug. 6. Tom Morley saddles another interesting contender in the undefeated Ardmore Bay (Bluegrass Cat), who followed his first out success against styate-breds at Belmont July 4 with a victory in Monmouth Park's Tyro S. Aug. 7.
