The catalogue for the SGA Yearling Sale at Ippodromo La Maura, featuring 126 yearlings, is now online. This year's edition will begin at 2 p.m. local time in Milan on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Yearlings on offer are by sires like Australia (GB), Bated Breath (GB), Churchill (Ire), Dandy Man (Ire), Galiway (GB), Gleneagles (Ire), Hello Youmzain (Fr), Holy Roman Emperor (Ire), Kodiac (GB), Profitable (Ire), Saxon Warrior (Jpn), Sea The Moon (Ger), Sioux Nation, Blue Point (Ire), Calyx (GB), Sergei Prokofiev, Arcano (Ire), Lethal Force (Ire) and Ruler Of The World (Ire) among others.
In 2023, the topper was a €160,000 daughter of Sea The Stars (Ire). A clearance rate of 68% was reached for a gross of €1,570,500 with 72 marked as sold. The average and median also both increased last year, rising to €21,813 (+11%) and €12,500 (+25%), respectively.
