Shackleford Confirmed for Clark

Mike Lauffer, Bill Cubbedge and Phillips Racing Partnership's Shackleford (Forestry) will run in Friday's GI Clark H. at Churchill Downs, trainer Dale Romans confirmed Monday. The GI Preakness S. and GI Metropolitan H. winner was also under consideration for Saturday's GI Cigar Mile H. at Aqueduct. “We're just going to stay home and run here at our home track where he's training everyday and not ship,” explained Romans. “He's run well here.”
