Celimene (Ire) (Dr Fong–Lunassa {Fr}, by Groom Dancer), heroine of last year's G3 Prix Penelope and G3 Prix de Flore, realized Eu800,000 from Shadai Farm on the first day of trade at the Arqana December Breeding Stock sale. The four-year-old, a half-sister to the listed winner Lunaska (Fr) (Ashkalani {Ire}), also placed fourth in the G1 Prix de Diane and G1 Prix Ganay. Earlier in the session, Shadai Farm went to Eu700,000 to land the MGSW & G1SP seven-year-old mare La Boum (Ger) (Monsun {Ger}–La Bouche {Ger}, by In the Wings {GB}).
