Madeenaty (Aus) (Exceed And Excel {Aus},) a A$775,000 yearling purchase at Magic Millions in January continued her progression with a smart display in the A$200,000 Wyong Magic Millions 2YO on Thursday. The Shadwell Australasia owned filly is now firmly on target for the A$2,000,000 Jeep Magic Millions 2YO Classic next month following her narrow win over Single Bullet (Aus) (Not A Single Doubt {Aus}). Madeenaty is trained by the Hayes/Dabernig partnership at Lindsay Park in Victoria and co-trainer Ben Hayes told Racing And Sports after the race, “We'll take her home to Lindsay Park where we can keep a close eye on her. We'll give her all her work at home before we fly her to the Gold Coast on the Monday before the race. We've always had an opinion of her. She's got great gate speed and that's a good asset for a two-year-old.” Madeenaty is now two wins from three starts having opened her account in a Listed race on her debut at Flemington in October before running third in the G3 Ottawa S. at the same course Nov. 1.
