Klaravich Stables and William Lawrence's Shareholder Value (Uncle Mo), an impressive allowance winner at Fair Grounds last December, remains under consideration for the Feb. 25 GII Risen Star S. after impressing trainer Tom Amoss with a four-furlong work in :48.00 (6/97) at the New Orleans oval Saturday.

“It was one of his best works,” Amoss said. “He went really well. As of this point, I'm going to look at the noms for the Risen Star and go from there. We haven't made a decision yet with him, but it's very much on the radar.”

After opening his career with two starts over the turf, Shareholder Value graduated over a sloppy main track at Keeneland Oct. 21. He was sixth behind McCraken (Ghostzapper) in the Nov. 26 GII Kentucky Jockey Club S. and concluded his juvenile campaign with a Dec. 26 allowance score. He was most recently a late-closing fifth behind Guest Suite (Quality Road) in the Jan. 21 GIII Lecomte S.
