Locked and loaded but stuck in traffic approaching the quarter pole, Star of Wonder found racing room along the rail as they straightened for home and kicked on in the stretch to defeat longshot Castle Chaos (Palace Malice) by a half-length. Star of Wonder made all four of his previous career starts last season, including an optional claiming victory around two turns at Churchill Downs most recently Nov. 24.
