Sheikh Khalifa Gets A Fastnet Rock Filly For A$1.6 Million at Easter

Fresh off a score with Pride of Dubai (Aus) (Street Cry {Ire}) in yesterday's G1 Sires' Produce S., Sheikh Khalifa added a A$1.6 million Fastnet Rock filly to his stable Tuesday at the Easter sale. The bay hails from one of the most successful and current families in the Australian stud book, being out of a full-sister to champion Alinghi (Aus) and from the family of leading first-season sire Beneteau (Aus) (Redoute's Choice {Aus}). This filly's full-brother also sold for A$1.6 million here last year, to John Warren.
