Successful in the G2 Sport-Welt Goldene Peitsche two years ago, Jaber Abdullah's Shining Emerald (GB) (Clodovil {Ire}) is back at Baden-Baden on Sunday off an ideal confidence-boosting conditions win over 6 1/2 furlongs at Bad Doberan on Aug. 7. He beat the re-opposing Son Cesio (Fr) (Zafeen {Fr}) and Daring Match (Ger) (Call Me Big {Ger}) in 2015 and missed last year's edition, which was won by Donnerschlag (GB) (Bahamian Bounty {GB}), who was disqualified and placed fourth. Dr Alexander Renz's Millowitsch (Ger) (Sehrezad {Ire}) is unexposed as a sprinter, having beaten Daring Match by 2 1/4 lengths in the G3 Hamburger Flieger-Trophy over this trip at Hamburg on July 5 before finishing third in the G2 Meilen Trophy at Cologne on July 16.
