Connections of Quiet Reflection made clear their regard for their filly by pitching her into the G2 Lowther S. at York in August a month after her five-length winning debut over five furlongs at Hamilton, but the bay was only fifth after over-racing in that six-furlong contest. Back at five for the Listed Harry Rosebery S. at Ayr in September, the bay re-established her reputation with an emphatic four-length success and followed that with another comprehensive win in Newmarket's G3 Cornwallis S. the next month. Always traveling easily behind the early leaders, she prompted Dougie Costello to commit passng the two-furlong marker and had been out in the clear too long as Jimmy Two Times ate into her advantage with every stride late on. “Coming here, we were hoping for a good run but the horses haven't really picked up at home yet and this is our first turf winner,” trainer Karl Burke explained. “We weren't certain she was ready enough, but she's delivered. We learned today that she hit the front way too early and idled, so we'll have to use different tactics next time. She will be aimed at the G2 Sandy Lane S. [at Haydock May 28] and is entered in the G1 Commonwealth Cup [at Royal Ascot June 17], but she will also hold an entry in the [June 14] G1 King's Stand S.”
