Sidney's Candy to Remain in Argentina

Former WinStar resident Sidney's Candy (Candy Ride {Arg}–Fair Exchange, by Storm Cat) will take up permanent residence at Ricardo Benedicto's Haras La Pasion in Argentina, where he has been shuttling there for the last five Southern Hemisphere seasons.

Winner of the 2010 GII San Vicente S., GII San Felipe S. and GI Santa Anita Derby, the chestnut also captured the GIII Sir Beaufort S. and the GII Fourstardave H. on the turf at Saratoga. Campaigned by WinStar in partnership with Rubio B. Stable, the Todd Pletcher trainee retired with a record of 17-7-4-1 and earnings of $1,104,810.

Sidney's Candy's first crop are currently 3-year-olds and his top runners include GIII Palm Beach S. winner Converge and South American Group 2 winner Pluja (Arg).
