A striking bay colt by Silvano (Ger) fetched a final bid of R3.25 million ($358,956) to top Thursday's opening session of the Cape Premier Yearling Sale in Cape Town. Bred and consigned by Andreas Jacobs's Maine Chance Farms, the Aug. 11 foal is a son of Racing Heart (SAf) (National Assembly), a half-sister to G1SW All Will Be Well (SAf) (Badger Land). The session-topper is a full-brother to Group 3-placed Romantic Moon (SAf). The sale concludes with a second day of selling Friday.
