The 11-year-old mare Siren's Serenade (Unbridled's Song), the only mare being offered in foal to leading sire Tapit at Keeneland January, sparked of bidding midway through Monday's opening session when hammering for $1.025 million to Eaton Sales' Reiley McDonald, who was buying on behalf of Don ALberto. The 11-year-old mare (Hip 145) is out of MGISW Versailles Treaty (Danzig) and is a half to GISW George Vancouver (Henrythenavigator). Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales, the bay has already produced five foals, including GISP Luminance (Tale of the Cat).
