Nudged along passing the two pole, the 11-4 second choice held a decisive advantage entering the final eighth and was ridden out in the latter stages to score by four lengths from Tivoli (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}). The €260,000 ARQMAY breezer, who RNA'd at €37,000 as a GOFORB yearling, is kin to the yearling colt American City (Fr) (Elusive City) and is the first scorer produced by a winning daughter of Listed Prix d'Angerville victress and G3 Prix de Sandringham runner-up Basse Besogne (Ire) (Pursuit of Love {GB}), who in turn is one of three black-type winners out of MG1SW French champion juvenile Baiser Vole (Foolish Pleasure).
