Slipper siblings top Rosehill trials

The Rosehill trials on Tuesday morning were dominated by a trio of Golden Slipper entries, who also share the distinction of being siblings to former Golden Slipper heroes.
Corumbene Stud’s Outreach (Aus) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}), trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, was the first to score over 900m, with jockey Hugh Bowman aboard, posting the fastest time of the day. The colt is a full brother to Overreach (Aus) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}), who landed the 2013 Golden Slipper for the same owner-breeder. The runner-up in this trial, more than three lengths clear from the rest of the field, was Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum’s Mawahibb (Aus) (Magic Albert), a half-brother to last year’s Golden Slipper hero Mossfun (Aus).
The following trial was won by Emirates Park’s Muheeb (Aus) (Lonhro {Aus}), a half-brother to former Golden Slipper glory and up-and-coming sire Sepoy (Aus).
