An attractive bay colt by Smart Strike–Dixie Holiday (Dixieland Band) was the subject of spirited bidding Tuesday afternoon at the OBS March Sale, falling to xx for a session-topping bid of $400,000. Consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, agent, the Apr. 3 foal is a half-brother to the recently deceased Holiday Runner (Meadowlake), the dam of GISW Seventh Street (Street Cry {Ire}) as well as GSP Reynaldothewizard (Speightstown).
