Sent up to draw level with Jupiter (GB) (Finjaan {GB}) a furlong out, the 15-8 favourite began to assert shortly after and was not fully extended to prevail by a neck. The winner is a half-brother to the G1 Criterium International and G3 Prix Perth scorer Zafisio (Ire) (Efisio {GB}), who was also runner-up in the G2 Mehl-Mulhens-Rennen (German 2000 Guineas), G1SW-Fr, GSW-Ger, SW-Eng & GSP-Ire, $475,117.
