The multiple Grade I winner Society Selection was the first to break through the seven-figure mark on the opening day of Keeneland November, bringing a final bid of $1,850,000 from Aisling Duignan, agent. The nine-year-old mare, winner of the GI Frizette S., GI Test S. and GI Alabama S. and just shy of $2 million, was part of the dispersal of Irving Cowan, and is in foal to Medaglia d'Oro.
