Group 1 winner Eva's Request (Ire) (f, 4, Soviet Star–Ingabella {Ire}, by Taufan), selling as a racing or broodmare prospect from the Rathbarry Stud consignment, was knocked down to Hugo Lascelles Bloodstock for 525,000gns at Tattersalls December Tuesday. Purchased as a yearling for ﾀ150,000 in 2006, Eva's Request quickly earned her keep with a win in the G3 C.L. Weld Park S. at two for owner Liam Mulryan and trainer Mick Channon. A listed winner at three, she came back to register her biggest career score two starts back when annexing the G1 Prix Lydia Tesio in Rome Oct. 25. Eva's Request currently has seven wins from 26 starts and ﾣ516,445 in earnings.
