Two 'TDN Rising Stars' line up in Chantilly's G3 Prix d'Aumale on Sunday, with the French-trained Efaadah (Ire) (Dansili {GB}) likely to attract partisan support following her dynamic debut performance. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum's homebred was not fully extended to inflict a three-length beating on the re-opposing Soustraction (Lope de Vega {Ire}) in the fillies's division of the debutantes event that Olmedo (Fr) (Declaration of War) captured at Deauville on Aug. 8, and trainer Freddy Head was effusive in his praise afterwards.
Godolphin supply two, with 'TDN Rising Star' Wild Illusion (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) bidding to build on an impressive debut win over this trip at Yarmouth on Aug. 22 alongside Expressiy (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), who was the four-length winner of a seven-furlong Newmarket maiden three days later. “Expressiy won last time out at Newmarket and did it nicely. She has come out of that run well and will be suited by ease in the ground and the step up to a mile,” Charlie Appleby said. “Wild Illusion won impressively on her first start at Yarmouth over a mile, so she is proven at the trip. She has also come out of her race well and hopefully we are going into the Prix d'Aumale with two live chances.”
