Storm Cat Filly to Team Valor for $1.5 Million

Hip 80, one of just two fillies in the catalogue by the recently pensioned Storm Cat, was hammered down to Team Valor International's Barry Irwin for $1.5 million as the opening session continued at Fasig-Tipton's Saratoga sale. Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales agency, the elegant bay filly was produced by Totemic (Vanlandingham), making her a half-sister to GSW & MGISP Lil's Lad and a full sister to GSW Cherokee and SW Art Museum. The listed breeder of the filly is Strategy Bloodstock, one of many names synonymous with the breeding arm of Coolmore Stud.
