+LIKE A HURRICANE (f, 2, Street Boss–Social Vindication, by Vindication) was bet down from a morning line of 6-1 to be off as the even-money favorite and ran to the money with a good-looking success from flagfall to finish. Away well from gate four beneath Francisco Torres, the $82,000 Fasig-Tipton July graduate showed good speed to lead within the opening 100 yards as Sheltowee's Point (Caleb's Posse) raced keenly while a bit short of room behind the leaders. Like a Hurricane opened a bit of daylight on the turn, was well clear into the stretch and held sway late to score by 2 1/2 lengths. Sheltowee's Point was angled out for racing room a furlong for home and finished with interest to be a promising second. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $27,900.
