ABINGDON (f, 3, Street Cry {Ire}–Justlookdontouch {Ire}, by Galileo {Ire}), an encouraging fourth on her racecourse bow behind the subsequent Listed Cheshire Oaks third Diamonds Pour Moi (GB) (Pour Moi {Ire}) over a mile at Kempton in November, was alert from the stalls to gain a perfect tow in a share of third early. Tackling the 5-4 favourite Ajman Princess (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) with a half furlong remaining, the imposing homebred mastered that rival 50 yards from the post en route to a half-length success. The first foal out of an unraced daughter of the G1 Yorkshire Oaks heroine and G1 St Leger runner-up Hellenic (Ire) (Darshaan {GB}), the winner has a 2-year-old half-sister by Hard Spun named Superioritycomplex (Ire) and a yearling half-sister by Leroidesanimaux (Brz). Hellenic has produced the triumvirate of stars Islington (Ire) (Sadler's Wells), Greek Dance (Ire) (Sadler's Wells) and Mountain High (Ire) (Danehill). “She is an absolute monster [in size], but is really sweet and a nice mover and absolutely loved this lively ground,” rider Ted Durcan commented. “She was almost the same size last year, so Sir Michael went slowly with her and looked after her and she has strengthened up a little bit over the winter. She will stay well too and has a lovely attitude.” Straw Hat (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), the full-sister to Telescope (Ire), ran afair race without threatening and finished seventh.
