Countess Gold, who failed to sell at $32,000 in January, was well-represented at the track this season by Strike the Deal and found a new home when selling for $850,000 at Keeneland November. Strike the Deal won this year's G2 Richmond S. and was second in the G1 Middle Park S. Frankfurt Park Stud made the winning bid on the eight-year-old mare, who is in foal to Eurosilver. She was consigned by Denali Stud on behalf of Five-D Thoroughbreds LLC.
