Sumaya Secures Malibu Moon Filly

Agent Steve Young bidding on behalf of Oussama Aboughazale's Sumaya US Stables went all the way to $500,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale Monday for hip 112, a Malibu Moon filly consigned by de Meric Sales, agent.
A $250,000 Fasig-Tipton July yearling buy by Nick de Meric's operation, the Mar. 24 foal–already named Lunar Eclipse–is a half to Javerre (Outflanker), winner of the GIII General George H. in Maryland.
Hip 112 covered a quarter mile in :21 3/5 during last week's under-tack preview.
