Bloodstock agent Reynolds Bell, acting for an undisclosed client, went to $1.7 million to bring home Summer Raven (Summer Squall), a seven-year-old mare in foal to Unbridled's Song. The mare, from the family of MGISW Wild Rush, is carrying a full sibling to impressive Saratoga maiden winner Winslow Homer. Summer Raven, winner of the 2004 GII Tempted S., was consigned by Eaton Sales as part of the Overbrook Farm dispersal.
