Sun Classique Sells Privately for A$2 Million at Inglis Easter

Champion Sun Classique (Aus) (Fuji Kiseki {Jpn}–Elfenjer {Aus}, by Last Tycoon {Ire}) was passed in at A$1.95 million when sent through the ring lot 677 Thursday at the Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale, but a deal was struck afterwards when Nathan Tinkler's Patinack Farm acquired her for A$2 million. The 2008 G1 Dubai Sheema Classic heroine is in foal to Oasis Dream (GB). Tinkler's other purchases on the day include the official session topper, Bel Mer (Aus) (Bel Esprit {Aus}), for A$1.05 million.
