Sweeter Still (Ire) (m, 9, Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}–Beltisaal, by Belmez), the only mare in the Keeneland January catalogue selling in foal to the world's top sire Galileo (Ire), was hammered down to Damian and Braxton Lynch's Royal Oak Farm, agent for Phyllis Wyeth's Chadds Ford Stable,ᅠfor $750,000 as Tuesday's session drew to a close on a cold Lexington night. Consigned by Eaton Sales as agent, Sweeter Still, a half-sister to G1 Racing Post Trophy hero Kingsbarns (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), took the 2008 GIII Senorita S. and won five of her 19 career starts for earnings of $312,539. The foal she is carrying will be bred on the same Galileo/Danehill cross responsible for undefeated champion Frankel (GB).
