Two-time Japanese Horse of the Year Gentildonna has died at the age of 16. The news was announced by Sunday Racing, who raced the daughter of Deep Impact throughout her 19-start career. Killer Ability, a five-year-old son of Deep Impact, has been bought to stand in India at Nanoli Stud for a partnership which includes Equus and SKJ Thoroughbreds. Auguste Rodin (Ire) will be joining his fellow Coolmore stallion and Derby winner City Of Troy in shuttling to the Southern Hemisphere this coming season but he will head instead to New Zealand's Windsor Park Stud.
