A first-crop Tamayuz (GB) (Nayef) half-brother to G1 Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp hero Total Gallery (Ire) (Namid {GB}) was hammered down to representatives of Blandford Bloodstock for 200,000gns to top the fourth and final foal session at the Tattersalls December Sale in Newmarket. Consigned as the property of Coleman Stud, the March foal is a son of Diary (Ire) (Green Desert), a three-time winner from as many starts in Greece and also the dam of G1SP Lady Darshaan (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}). Hip 1131 is the second of Diary's foals to make a splash at this auction. Her 2009 produce, a full sister to Lady Darshaan (Ire), made 300,000gns from Hugh Lascelles Bloodstock 12 months ago.
