Leading sire Tapit (Pulpit), who has led the North American general sire lists in 2014-2015 and is currently in that position for a third time with over $18 million in progeny earnings, will stand for an unchanged fee of $300,000, Gainesway Farm announced Thursday. The grey son of Pulpit has celebrated four more Grade I winners on the track in 2016 in GI Belmont S. hero Creator, joint-GI Spinaway S. heroines Pretty City Dancer and Sweet Loretta and GI Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup S. winner Time and Motion. Frosted, the 2015 GI Wood Memorial S. hero, delivered a stunning performance in the GI Metropolitan H. and also added the GI Whitney S. for good measure later this August.
