Gainesway stallion Tapit (Pulpit–Tap Your Heels, by Unbridled) will cover mares at the Lexington, Kentucky, nursery on Southern Hemisphere time beginning Sept. 1. His fee has been set at $20,000, due when the mare is exported from the U.S. The eight-year-old stallion, who led the freshman sire list in 2008, has been represented by three Grade I winners, including champion Stardom Bound. He has 10 black-type winners to date.
