'TDN Rising Star' Taris (Flatter), who had been expected to take on males in next weekend's GI Triple Bend S., will miss the race due to a foot issue and instead be pointed to the GI Ballerina S. at Saratoga Aug. 27.
“She has a bit of a sore foot and we missed the last work with her,” trainer Simon Callaghan commented. “She's sound, but we didn't want to take the risk and run her.”
Taris, a jaw-dropping winner of Churchill's GI Humana Distaff S. May 7, most recently worked five furlongs in 1:02.80 June 4.
