Tattersalls Date For Mabs Cross

G1 Prix de l'Abbaye winner Mabs Cross (GB) (Dutch Art {GB}-Miss Meggy {GB}, by Pivotal {GB}) will be offered as lot 1818 at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale on Dec. 3. Trainer Michael Dodds will consign the 5-year-old mare from his Denton Hall Stables on behalf of owner David Armstrong.

Mabs Cross recorded four wins in her debut season at three capped with a win in the Listed Musselburgh Fillies' Sprint S., but it was at four that she really sprung to life. She won the G3 Palace House S. and, after placed efforts in the G1 King's Stand S., G2 Sapphire S. and G1 Nunthorpe S., won the Prix de l'Abbaye. She recorded a career-best RPR of 117 in May when defending her Palace House title, and was fourth in both the King's Stand and Nunthorpe. She is Britain's highest-rated sprinting mare of 2019.

Mabs Cross is out of the Listed Hilary Needler Trophy winner Miss Meggy, and is a half-sister to GIII Senorita S. winner Charlie Em (GB) (Kheleyf).
