A total of five horses who took part in the ITM Irish EBF Barrier Trials at Leopardstown earlier this week will go under the hammer in a Tattersalls Online Barrier Trials Pop-Up Sale from September 3-4. The sale begins at noon September 3 and closes one day later at 12 p.m.
Three of the lots will be consigned by Diego Dias on behalf of Star Bloodstock: juvenile gelding Kenough (Kendargent) (lot 3), a smart trial winner and a full-brother to listed winner and Group 2-placed Strassia and to stakes winner Strako; as well as Noelan Star (Starspangledbanner) (lot 4), another trial winner, who cost 45,000gns as a Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 2 graduate. Diego's third lot is mid-pack finisher Chronata (Ardad) (lot 1).
Jack Foley will offer trial runner-up Girl Bear (Kodi Bear) (lot 2), while Sheila Lavery has entered Sagasti (Supremacy) (lot 5), who made good headway late in her trial to finisher fourth. Sagasti is out of a winning half-sister to the dam of Group 2 winner Wimbledon Hawkeye (Kameko).
The ITM barrier trials were conducted with the assistance of the Irish EBF and the IHRB.
