Tattersalls has signed on to sponsor the Listed Tattersalls Prix la Sorellina at La Teste de Buch Racecourse in France. The race, one of only two listed contests at the racecourse, takes place June 22 over a mile for 3-year-old fillies. It was last year won by Highclere's Chartreuse, subsequently sold at Tattersalls December for 825,000gns.
Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony said, “Sponsoring the Listed Prix La Sorellina reflects the strong relationship that has been built between Tattersalls and La Teste de Buch Racecourse through our association with French sales company Osarus. The flagship Osarus September Yearling Sale takes place at La Teste and has quickly established itself as an important fixture in the European sales calendar.”
