The Tattersalls December Sale moves into its third and final phase on Monday with the first of four sessions of mare sales.
Hazariya (Ire) (Xaar {GB}), the dam of this year's G1 Investec Derby and G1 Irish Derby winner Harzand (Ire) (Sea The Stars (Ire), is among 1,059 lots catalogued. The 14-year-old Hazariya, who has also produced Group 3 winner Harasiya (Ire) (Pivotal {GB}) and listed winner Hazarafa (Ire) (Daylami {Ire}) as well as the stakes-placed Haziyna (Ire) (Halling), will be offered by Newsells Park Stud in foal to Invincible Spirit (Ire) as lot 1826.
Other highlights of the mare sale include off-the-track Group 1 winners Euro Charline (GB) (Myboycharlie {Ire}) (lot 1848) and Furia Cruzada (Chi) (Newfoundland) (lot 1867), with this year's G3 Premio Regina Elena (Italian 1000 Guineas) winner Conselice (GB) (Showcasing {GB}) also catalogued as lot 1847.
Also catalogued as fillies in/out of training are stakes-winning and Classic-placed 4-year-olds Irish Rookie (Ire) (Azamour {Ire}) (lot 1840), Jack Naylor (GB) (Champs Elysees {GB}) (lot 1823) and Nymeria (Ger) (Soldier Hollow {GB}) (lot 1777). The nine additional Group 1 winners or producers catalogued include Screen Star (Ire) (Toubougg {Ire}) (lot 1837), the dam of G1 Cheveley Park S. winner Lumiere (Ire) (Shamardal); Shermeen (Ire) (Desert Style {Ire}) (lot 1725), who has produced G1 Phoenix S. winner Sudirman (Henrythenavigator).
With international appeal are a pair of mares offered by Baroda & Colbinstown Studs in foal to U.S. sire sensation Uncle Mo.
