Team Valor Buys Half of Violence 'Rising Star'

Team Valor International has acquired a 50% interest in 'TDN Rising Star' Talk Veuve to Me (Violence) after she stamped herself as a promising prospect with an effortless 11 1/4-length graduation Sunday at Fair Grounds. The bay filly, a $20,000 Keeneland September and $95,000 OBS March buyback, is co-owned by Stephen McKay and trainer Rodolphe Brisset.

“This is a real machine,” Team Valor CEO Barry Irwin said. “I worked with Rodolphe when he was an assistant to Bill Mott and have a lot of faith in him. He is a young man on the rise.”

Irwin is familiar with Talk Veuve to Me's family, as her dam, Biblical Point (Point Given), is a full-sister to stakes winner Winning Point, who was campaigned in Team Valor's green and red silks.
