Caren (Society's Chairman) spots Ancient Secret three pounds after scoring in two-thirds of the Canadian Triple Tiara. She enters riding a hot hand as well off wins in Woodbine's Bison City S. July 10 and Wonder Where S. Aug. 7, respectively. “I just thought to give ourselves the best shot at winning a graded stake that we'd give her a little time,” trainer Mike DePaulo said. “This race has come up a little tougher than expected, but they're all going to have to run to beat her.” Shake Down Baby (Wando) delivered as the 9-5 chalk in an 13-horse field in Woodbine's La Prevoyante S. Aug. 28.
