Three Chimneys Acquires Half Interest in Will Take Charge

The Borges-Torrealba and Clay familiesís Three Chimneys Farm has acquired a 50% interest in GI Travers S. and GI Clark H. winner Will Take Charge (Unbridledís Song–Take Charge Lady, by Dehere), it was announced Sunday. Willis Horton will retain the other half of the soon-to-be 4-year-old, who will remain in training next year with Hall of Famer D. Wayne Lukas before entering stud at Three Chimneys following the conclusion of his racing career. ìWill Take Charge is the kind of horse we all dream of having in the stallion barn, because heís the complete package in every way,î said Case Clay, president of Three Chimneys. ìBeing a part of a horse of this magnitude is a step in an exciting new direction for Three Chimneys, and weíre thrilled to be able to race him with Mr. Horton in 2014.î
