Chris Baker signed the tickets on a pair of juvenile fillies from the Melnyk dispersal on behalf of Three Chimneys Farm. Hip 414, Bedford Land (Speightstown) was hammered down for $1.075 million and is out of GISW Pool Land. She has a SP full brother named Speightsland and she was a debut winner at Churchill Downs June 22. Hip 413 is the unraced Bath Village (Marchfield) and she sold for $470,000. The filly's dam Christie Village is a half sister to MGISW blue hen mare Take Charge Lady (Dehere), who produced champion Will Take Charge (Unbridled's Song) and GISW Take Charge Indy (A.P. Indy).
