Khalid Abdullah's Time Test (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), widely considered a Group 1-winner in the making last year after winning Royal Ascot's G3 Tercentenary S., could get another shot at a top-level score in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at The Curragh May 22. The bay, who was only fourth in the G1 Juddmonte International in August but rebounded to win the G2 Joel S. in September, has not been seen since finishing 10th in the GI Breeders' Cup Mile Oct. 31.
“Time Test is in good form,” confirmed trainer Roger Charlton. “He will run where the ground is suitable for him and the first possible outing he might have is the Tattersalls Gold Cup. He has done well over the winter. He has not really changed much from three to four, but I would say he is more relaxed than he was.”
Time Test would be likely to face last year's G1 Champion S. winner Fascinating Rock (Ire) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}) and GI Breeders' Cup Turf winner Found (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) if he runs in the Tattersalls Gold Cup.
