She wasn't foaled until May 3, but hip 28, a filly by Tiznow out of Misty Lee (Level Sands) was one of the early highlights at Barretts March Tuesday. Consigned by Scanlon Training Center, the grey brought $390,000 from C-Punch Ranch. The $100,000 KEESEP yearling purchase is out of a winning half-sister to champion Xtra Heat (Dixieland Heat). Breeder Whisper Hill purchased the dam, in foal to Tiznow, for $300,000 at KEENOV 2003.
