Though he has more points than Mo Tom (Uncle Mo), he's widely regarded as the second-best horse from the stable of Gayle and Tom Benson, the owners of the New Orleans Saints and the NBA New Orleans Pelicans. Tom's Ready has a habit of running second, which he's done four times from nine starts. His only win was a maiden at Churchill last September. He ran dismally in the slop in the GII Kentucky Jockey Club S., so may need a dry track.
